Returns and Complaints - Sneakily

At Sneakily, we sell new and refurbished shoes and products. We want your purchase to be safe and transparent.
1. Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason - applies to new and refurbished products.
- Notification: inform us within 14 days - sneakily.store@gmail.com or via the form (template at the end).
- Return: send back the goods within 14 days of informing us.
2. Liability for Diminished Value
You can inspect and try on the shoes as you would in a physical store. You are responsible for any diminished value of the product resulting from use beyond what is necessary to check it. We reduce the refund amount by the value corresponding to the loss of value, determined individually based on the condition of the returned goods. For refurbished and used products, even minor damage or signs of use beyond the condition documented in the offer can significantly reduce the value - often by half the price or more. The condition of each product is documented before shipping.
3. Refund
- We refund the amount paid for the product. We only refund the shipping cost up to the amount of the cheapest available shipping method and only if it was paid by you - for free/promotional shipping, the shipping cost is non-refundable.
- We do not refund return shipping costs - they are borne by the buyer (point 4).
- Refund within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal statement; we may withhold it until we receive the goods or proof of return. We refund using the same payment method you used.
4. Return Shipping and Costs
The cost of return shipping is borne by the buyer. Two options:
- return label generated by us (deducted from the refund amount): domestic - 25 PLN, international - 65 PLN;
- or self-return using a chosen carrier at your own expense only to the address provided below (we recommend with tracking).
Exception: if the return is due to our fault (defective product or not as ordered) - we cover the cost. We are not responsible for lost/damaged return shipments when the customer returns them independently without tracking.

5. Warranty and Liability for Use
- We do not provide a commercial warranty on footwear. Its absence does not limit your statutory rights (warranty - point 6).
- Footwear, especially used and refurbished, due to its condition may be more susceptible to further wear than new. By purchasing a used product, you accept this natural characteristic of the goods.
- Care recommendations: do not wash shoes in a washing machine or dry them in a dryer; clean only using methods and products suitable for the specific material. Damage resulting from failure to follow these recommendations is not subject to complaint.
6. Warranty (non-conformity of goods with the contract)
- Period: used products - 1 year from delivery (statutory minimum for used goods); new - 2 years.
- Presumption and its limits: if non-conformity appears during our liability period, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. This presumption does not apply if it is inconsistent with the nature of used goods or the nature of the non-conformity - particularly if the problem arises from natural wear and tear or degradation of used products due to wearing. In such cases, we do not consider it a defect at the time of delivery.
- Claims (for defects existing at the time of delivery, not described in the offer): repair or replacement; and when this is impossible/ineffective or the defect is significant — price reduction or withdrawal. Withdrawal is not applicable for non-significant defects.
- Significant defects (covered) - examples: damage existing at the time of delivery and not described in the offer, e.g. punctured/defective cushioning unit (Air), crack in the sole of a primary defect nature, tearing of material, delamination.
Natural wear and effects of use (DO NOT constitute a defect or grounds for complaint):
- natural wear and tear: abrasion of heel material, deepening of existing abrasions, fraying of seams, deepening of minor delaminations, abrasion of the sole or material due to wearing;
- natural degradation of air systems / cushioning due to use
- minor delaminations and signs of use consistent with the condition documented in the offer;
- damage due to improper use, storage, or cleaning - including sole cracking, damage, cracking or delamination of leather and materials, particularly due to washing in a washing machine or use of inappropriate products/techniques.
The qualification is determined by the cause of the problem (primary defect at the time of delivery vs wear / improper use). The condition of the used product is assessed against its documented condition in the offer
